25% of shoppers said that they are using recipes more as a result of rising grocery prices. What about the rest? Well, 61% claimed to continue digital recipe usage as normal. With digital recipes widely accessible and utilized by 9 out of 10 consumers, they will remain a key tool in influencing shoppers’ lists and more importantly, purchases.
In the quest for better prices, 41% of consumers have turned to comparison shopping. Of course, the use of coupons or seeking out sales and deals has increased as well, by 33%.
In the basket-or-break-it moment, almost half of shoppers are passing on premium brands or specialty items to keep costs low(er).
