Chicory Announces Partnership Making 3,000+ Campbell’s Kitchen Recipes Instantly Shoppable
Launching today, consumers can now order all the ingredients needed to cook any recipe on Campbell’s Kitchen with just a few clicks, thanks to an integration with Chicory. The partnership transforms Campbell’s into a one-stop platform for readers to learn more about Campbell’s products, look for recipe inspiration, and then purchase all the ingredients they need to make the recipes via our Recipe Activation ecommerce technology.
To use our shoppable recipe tool on the Campbell’s website, readers can simply visit any recipe on campbells.com/kitchen. Scroll to the bottom of the recipe ingredients list and then look for a red button that says “Get Ingredients.” When a user clicks that button, they will be prompted to type in their zip code and then select a nearby grocery retailer.
With the integration, Campbell's will also be able to leverage our existing retailer network. Retailers in this network currently include Peapod, Instacart, Meijer, Walmart, Wakefern, Amazon and AmazonFresh. The technology will automatically match Campbell's branded ingredient lines (encompassing over ten brands, from Pepperidge Farm to V8) with products available at each retailer, allowing Campbell's to learn more about its shopper habits and drive incremental sales with readers.
“Chicory is thrilled to welcome Campbell's recipes to our network of shoppable recipe sites,” said CEO Yuni Sameshima. “Our business is all about catalyzing online grocery usership through smart, intuitive solutions,” he continued, “so it’s heartening to see international leaders like Campbell's take part in our initiatives. Campbell's has always represented innovation, so we hope to see this partnership, and Chicory, contributing to that legacy.”
Our Recipe Activation technology is currently installed on over 1,000 recipe sites and reaches 80M monthly online shoppers, making them the largest shoppable recipe network in the world. Their retailer partners allow them to offer shoppable recipes to over 40% of U.S. zip codes, and the company drives tens of thousands of recipe purchases each month across their network
