Staff Spotlight: Meet Kyle M.!

Welcome Kyle Murphy into the Chicory Staff Spotlight! Kyle is a Frontend Engineer who joined our team in November 2022.

As a Frontend Engineer, Kyle helps lay out our company's roadmap and builds innovative grocery shopping experiences for +110M monthly unique shoppers across our contextual commerce platform.

When Kyle isn’t improving the user experience within the Chicory universe of shoppable solutions, he’s a big foodie! He loves to explore new restaurants and definitely takes advantage of the NYC restaurant scene when he comes to town for our company-wide events. You’ll also find him playing World of Warcraft — he’s actually extremely competitive and in the top 1% of players! Come May, he’ll be all in on the NBA playoffs. If there isn’t a game on and it’s warm enough, he’ll go kayaking too.

Kyle grew up in Kansas City (on the Kansas side), attending Kansas State University located in the Little Apple (Manhattan, KS). Later on, he moved to Northwest Arkansas for work and has been there since. Kyle met his girlfriend at K-State and they’ve been dating since! Like Kyle, she’s a software engineer. They share a love of code, but also a passion for traveling and trying new restaurants.
