Staff Spotlight: Kristiana Calbi

Give a warm welcome to our latest Staff Spotlight, Kristiana Calbi. Having started at Chicory in November 2020, Kristiana (Kris, among the team) is a Senior Account Executive here, working meticulously with clients to strategize for maximum results.

EDIT: In July 2022, Kristiana was promoted to Sales Team Lead!

Kristiana was born and raised in Port Washington, NY (listen closely, and you'll catch her Long Island accent). From there, she made her way to Pennsylvania for college where she attended Villanova -- go Wildcats! Then, as she started her career, she moved to NYC hopping between Manhattan and Brooklyn for eight years.

Now, Kristiana is a California transplant. She moved to sunny Los Angeles with her husband, Marlon in early 2020. She and Marlon got to spend the pandemic lockdown in a completely new location, exploring local eateries and enjoying Santa Monica beach! When she’s not talking recipes with clients, you can find Kristiana hanging out with friends and family, spending time outdoors, binge watching interior design & crime shows, or volunteering through School on Wheels LA. Although she says she’ll always be an East Coaster at heart, she’s loving life on the West Coast, traveling to new cities every chance she gets.

With 10 years of experience in the digital advertising sales space, she “feels grateful to have such wonderful client partners, many of which have become great friends over the years!” As a Senior Account Executive, Kris works every day to bring consultation and thorough support to her client partners, delivering customized strategy and recommendations based on their unique business needs. We asked her what’s special about Chicory.

She shared that she has a fascination with emerging food trends. That fascination fuels her creativity when working with clients from large powerhouse CPG brands to our more niche, category-disruptor clients who challenge the status quo. This innate passion allows Kristiana to deliver strong and actionable impact, while always bringing her personal touch of out of the box thinking and detail to maximize success. When it comes to client relations, you can trust you’re in good hands with Kristiana.

“Within the evolving world of CPG, grocery, and shopper marketing, I’m proud to be a part of an organization that is at the forefront of two major shifts in consumer behavior – cooking at home, and online grocery,” she continued.
