Chicory Partners with Ad Net Zero: A New Step Towards Sustainability

We are thrilled to officially announce that Chicory has partnered with Ad Net Zero, marking a significant move in our journey towards becoming a more sustainable company.

Ad Net Zero aims to reduce the advertising industry’s carbon footprint through practical, measurable steps. Its network comprises some of the industry’s largest agencies, brands, and technology companies, and accounts for more than 40% of the world’s ad spend through its membership.

The group calls for agencies and marketing services companies to annually measure consumption data—for example, electricity usage, business travel, and waste production—to reduce operational carbon emissions.

By partnering with this organization, Chicory will take part in its five-point plan to decarbonize advertising, from production to media planning.

According to a Scope3 report, digital advertising is responsible for 7.2 million metric tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. We recognize the responsibility we have in ensuring sustainable practices within this industry.

Chicory’s COO, Joey Petracca, expressed the excitement behind the partnership, saying “we are committed to becoming a more sustainable company, and we’re proud to support Ad Net Zero’s mission of reducing carbon emissions.”

We look forward to what this partnership will bring and are excited to continue supporting sustainable innovation in the digital ad space.
