Marketing Design Intern
Welcome to Chicory!
The team at Chicory is seeking a Marketing Design Intern to assist our marketing department with development of client-facing materials. This addition to the team will work alongside our marketing designer to create pitch decks, proposals, wrap up decks, mockups, campaign creatives and other miscellaneous brand materials. The right candidate will have a keen eye for great, user-friendly design, and will know how to work creatively within the confines the Chicory brand and style.
Spend the summer at Chicory in order to gain real world skills in the world of marketing design. Not only will you help hone the brand of our growing startup, but will also design and produce ads that reach millions of consumers around our recipe network, representing some of the largest food brands in the world. We’re a fun and fast-paced team that is looking for a go-getter with a positive mindset. The role offers room for growth within the organization and will be tailored to the right person’s interests and strengths.
Work with Marketing Director and Marketing Designer to understand client needs and produce ad creatives that match both client brand and Chicory style guides
Coordinate with Account Managers and client to make ad creative edits
Work with marketing team to produce visual elements for proposals, wrap up decks and pitches (ad mockups, custom slides, user flows)
Ensure Chicory style guide and brand guidelines are met on all outbound materials (mockups, decks, logo usage)
Maintain design library to ensure effective usage and re-usage of materials the marketing team as already produced, also discontinuing out-of-date materials
Produce custom graphics for marketing initiatives (infographics, social media posts)
Your background and capabilities
Relevant major, internship experience and/or freelance experience (please provide portfolio if available/relevant)
Strong graphic design skills
Experience working with a specified style guide/brand guidelines
Desire to work at a startup
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Photoshop, InDesign and Powerpoint skills
Ability to take feedback constructively
Bonus, but not required: photo editing, video editing/production, illustration, UX design
