Chicory CEO Yuni Sameshima to Speak at Groceryshop

Sameshima to Join Disruptive Technologies Track and Make Announcement at October Event

NEW YORK, June 13, 2018: Yuni Sameshima, Co-Founder and CEO of Chicory, has announced this week that he will be joining the speaker lineup at Groceryshop, a new conference from the team at Shoptalk. Sameshima will speak as part of the “Next Generation Shopping Experiences: New Technologies and Business Models” track and will cover how Chicory is delivering new customer experiences. The talk will include a major announcement about Chicory and is set to take place on Monday, October 29th at approximately 8:30AM, PT.

The conference gathers leading minds and experts in the grocery retail industry, and is coming to Las Vegas on October 28 through 31, 2018 for its inaugural year. At Groceryshop, Sameshima will speak as part of an elite group of industry experts -- from C-suite and VP-level brand executives (Michele McNamara, VP Ecommerce at Chobani and Oskar Kaszubski, VP of Ecommerce Acceleration at Kellogg’s) to tech innovators and grocery gamechangers (Daniel Alegre, President or Retail & Shopping at Google and Josh Hix, Co-Founder and CEO of Plated).

“Being invited back by the Shoptalk team to join the roster at Groceryshop is a real honor,” said Sameshima. “Our session at Shoptalk 2018 helped to cement our brand among major industry players and facilitated valuable conversations that have impacted Chicory’s trajectory this year. We’re excited to see this new offshoot from that conference, just for the grocery industry. Groceryshop should be an exciting few days with major players gathering to determine the future of our industry, and we’re excited to be a part of it.”

Sameshima has spoken globally about grocery trends and ecommerce and was invited to speak at Groceryshop after his appearance this past March at Shoptalk, the world’s largest retail and ecommerce conference with over 8,000 attendees.
