We know that site speed is becoming increasingly important for all of our partners. As you work on your site’s spring cleaning plan, Chicory has been doing some tidying up ourselves!

For all Chicory JavaScript files and CSS we have enabled compression, minification, and browser caching.

We’ve also updated our WordPress plugin with these changes, so for those partners who have our plugin enabled, make sure you’re using the latest version.

When you run a site speed test (we recommend GTMetrix or Google), Chicory should not appear as a critical optimization. Note that our team has made a conscious decision to not compress our analytics stack, since we never want to jeopardize how we track metrics that determine earnings. Depending on how your site is structured and optimized, Chicory may appear as a minor “optimization.”
